Fantastic sunny weather heralded the drive to the start of the third Social Friends Treasure Hunt. However when arriving in Aylesbury the weather was overcast and participants fished out their woollies to combat the cool degrees.
With 15 minute starting slots from 10am, five cars, containing a total of 13 participants set off in the direction of Buckingham. Random answers such as Bert Weedon, Dogs, Bicycles and Prison enlivened the day as did a meeting with a Marsh Gibbon.

Two of the teams stopped for coffee and cake at Jennie Wren’s Tea Shop in Winslow. A lesson was also learnt about locals, they can help, but sometimes they spin you a yarn. The quest ended at the Cotton Wheel pub, where lunch was taken and the scores calculated. Everyone one did really well with only 6 points between top and bottom.
The winners were presented with their trophy and medals. All participants enjoyed their day out in the pleasant countryside and their lunch too.
