Social Friends had a fabulous Bank Holiday Weekend at Warners Norton Grange Holiday Village in early May. The weather was permanently sunny and the facilities were great.
Fifty one Social Friends members headed to Lymington in shared cars before meeting up together on the ferry to Yarmouth. Norton Grange is just round the corner from the ferry terminal so we didn't have long to wait to regather in the bar and enjoy ourselves.

After full evenings of entertainment including discos and Karaoke until the small hours, during the day some of the group went out and about on the Isle to blow away the cob webs.
Places visited during the weekend included Alum Bay and the Needles, Godshill, Freshwater Bay, The IOW Steam Railway, Osborne House (Queen Victoria's holiday home) and the Roman Villa at Brading.

Others took it easy around the holiday village, playing pitch and putt, darts, snooker, table tennis or using the pool, sauna and gym facilities before taking a gentle stroll into the small town of Yarmouth for a cream tea.
We all had a great time which was helped enormously by the glorious sunny weather.
