Social Friends Charity Dinner Dance

Social Friends held a charity dinner dance on Friday 10 July to help raise funds for the Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted. 

The venue chosen for this special event was the beautiful Pendley Manor Hotel in Tring. It was a lovely warm summer's evening and we were situated in the splendid Oak room at the hotel. The evening went perfectly starting with drinks in the Shakespeare Bar before commencing to our tables for a lovely three course meal.

Between dinner and desert the fun and games started with Master of Ceremonies and DJ Phil Gomm from Mayhem Productions.  Starting with a 'head and tails game' he then moved on to an auction of three items during coffee.  We then held a raffle which included a huge drinks hamper, a beauty box, a meal for 2 with wine, a family ticket for The Paper Trail and 2 tickets for the Rex Cinema to name just a few.  This was followed with a disco and spot prizes all through the evening. The whole evening was amazing and everyone enjoyed themselves and stayed until midnight. Most importantly we raised just over £1000 for the Hospice and we look forward to presenting a cheque to them in the near future For more pictures of the evening click here for our gallery.
