Thanks to Maggie & Steve for holding the fort at October club night. Apparently a very successful fun night with a quiz and head & tails competition Jennie
This is our regular monthly social get-together. Take the opportunity to have a catch-up with members, book into forthcoming events with the relevant host or to put a date in the Events Coordinator’s diary to host an event yourself.

Over 25 people went to Pakefield. The weather made it, sun all weekend, so plenty of walks along the beach. Good value for money, food very good and entertainment exceptional with plenty of dancing Joanne & Bill
The Picnic in the Park was a smashing and dry afternoon for us in Gadebridge Park. 10 of us brought a sharing plate of food which gave us a wonderful picnic spread from savoury to sweets all nicely complemented by a Pimms toast to our late friend Jenny B Jill, Teresa & Lyn

13 Social Friends members were rewarded with great weather for our morning walk in and around Long Marston.
Splitting into two groups, one half chose to do the 4 1/2 miles whilst the other group a more leisurely stroll meeting locals Emma & Jeremy who were picking fruit. The leisurely group were served tea and cake in Emma & Jeremy's garden! Whilst the main group had a couple of close encounters with cattle. We all met up at the Queens Head for a deserved drink and chat about our morning After the walk some of us met up with other social friends at Shirley's Roadhouse (formerly Broadlakes). We chatted and danced to the band 'The wonder years'. Then had a meal out together 16 Social Friends attended this breakfast and had a good time eating & socialising. Food was lovely, fresh and plentiful.
Thanks to Patrick for reserving us a prime spot with a lake view. Looking for to our next visit Seventeen SFs enjoyed a lovely afternoon at a return visit to Little Hay Golf Club. Once again the Sunday carvery was really good plus lovely surroundings in which to catch up This weekend is run by John & Deb O'Malley of Holiday Rock.
